A few days ago I asked for help with a make-up problem and voila you solved it.

Now I'd like your advice on the harsh reality of bare-chest beard (and other part of the anatomy).

Any solutions?

If only life were as simple as fiction.

"Here," she said with a grin, "take this Lady Bic into the shower with you and git rid of all your hair."

Seoonds later I emerged perfectly smooth.

Uh huh . . . and two days after starting on hormones her breasts filled a C cup.

Honestly -- and advice will be considered. My spouse is starting to refer to me as Velcro.

You're not going to like it ...

... but ...
Braun Silk-Epil.

Downside: you'll need about three days growth before it will work properly. It least, that's what was required for my legs.

Oh, yes - - and it hurts - - like a long, drawn-out waxing.

Maybe because that's about what it is.

But it works. And it gets better after a few times, as the hair grows back less coarse; and less strong.

I like having to tend to me legs only once a month ...

I don't know any way to get rid of the 'velcro' except to shave it every 2-3 days!!
I use 'Aveeno Positively Smooth' body wash and body lotion, it seems to keep the stubble a little softer and I can go 3-4 days before I get complaints from my wife!
Otherwise Laser!!! Just have to save up for it!!

Give the hormones time

Depending on your age, body and hair type your body hair may go away. After a few years I had zero chest hair, light velous hair on my arms and only have to shave my legs once in awhile. We usually tell electrology clients to save their money for other things and give the hormones time to work, then decide.

Spearmint tea

Separmint tea is supposed to slow body and facial hair growth, but it does come bacK.
electrolysis is a way for the chest. Bikini was for that other area not mentioned.
Other wise use a womans razor and shave every three to four days to avoid the velcro affect.

Is fighting some kind of battle.

its a temporary pain but...

Waxing followed by daily moisturising.

There is an increased risk of ingrown hairs, but when the hair comes back its not stubbly.

Also hairs with fixed length (eyebrows, eyelashes, arm hair, chest, pubes) grow back MUCH slower than facial hair... so you have to do it less often.

Make sure you rub the oil in thoroughly after you're done. It soothes the irritated skin and makes the pain go mostly away.

Nobody.
