I'm going to be the San Diego ComiCon and in San Diego generally from Wednesday through Sunday. I'll have my laptop with me wo I won't be out of touch but I won't be sitting in front of it doing other stuff and checking on the site every half hour like I do when I'm home.
But to anybody who is going to be at the 'Con or in San Diego this week, you can PM me here for info on how to contact me while I'm there. I have a hotel room almost out in the Claremont Mesa area, about ten miles from the con and will be riding the trolley from the stadium into downtown.
If we're lucky, I'll see some of you at the con. :)

Friend of a friend
Mr. Foglio is a friend of a friend, so I may actually get to talk to him. I've met him before but never had a conversation. First time I saw him was ages ago at some small con (Phil and I were both smaller too), he was a very young man who seemed to be having the time of his life because people liked his stuff. :)
I hope to hook up with Scott Shaw!, Mark Evanier, Mike Royer and some other people I worked with during my brief comic book career 30 years ago. I'd also like to meet up with Deni Loubert, Wendy Pini and Shaenon Garrity again but I think only Wendy will be at the Con. Kevin Eastman will be there and it would be interesting to meet him, too, since reportedly the efforts of our tiny comic book company in the late seventies (along with Dave Sim and Deni's Cerebus and Richard and Wendy Pini's Elfquest) helped inspire he and Peter Laird to produce the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. :)
