Some photos from the comc con as shown on the guardian website. Some of the con goers make great efforts with their costumes, Mark Hamill was brilliant - instead of reprising Luke Skywalker, he seems to be appearing as Jabba the Hutt.

I never think to take pictures! One of the funniest I saw yesterday was a little girl as an undead Pikachu. :)
There was also a family with mom as Princess Leia, dad as Han Solo and baby in a stroller that looked like R2D2.
There were enough Catwoman and Black Cat costumes to give a crowd of Rottweilers the heebie jeebies and several astonishingly good Dr. Whos.

I couldn't make it out there...
...so I popped open a can of my favorite energy drink, Gamma Glamour, and had a nice convention right here in NJ, where we often don't need anything other than our local 'atmosphere' to hulk up.
