Believe it or not, the music I hear for these lines is the overture of Sweeney Todd. :) That's because my roommates were watching it in the other room while I inked and lettered the strip. Now I can't remember the original music I had in mind! :)

... I'm glad you're feeling well enough to do a little drawing. Much as I admire your pen(wo)manship perhaps, like Doonesbury, it takes a little time for a thick Brit to become au fait with this US humour. My morning newspaper also publishes the 'Perry Bible Fellowship' which is even more subtle. Ah, the unseen barriers of the common language :o)
