Heads Up!
Melanie and I are going to be staying in a motel tonight, and we may have to do it again in a few days or a week. I no longer feel safe trying to use our shower; we've got someone coming Friday to take a look at installing a more accessible bath.
So, I'm going to take a one-day vacation from the site. I'll have my laptop with me, but may not turn it on, who knows. Piper will be watching for problems, and we should all be fine.
Play nice.
Hugs,
Erin

Seriously — I hope you both take some time to relax. We’ll have a kegger for sure, but I promise we’ll clean up afterwards. You won’t even notice!

So Many Falls
Happen in the shower. I now have a shower chair and grab-rails and I still take extra care. I hope you get it fixed satisfactorily. We can't afford to lose you!
Shower Danger
I'm running through my memory all the showers I have worked on. I am NOT able to pull up any which were "dangerous". Broken fixtures, holes in the walls, cracked floors, some truly nasty, a couple had built in seats, and some had safety bars. In the nursing homes some had emergency call cords, but dangerous?
Hugs Erin, a day off isn't unless you really let work go and relax physically and mentally.
