Erin, ladies remove this if it's out of line for this channel.
Abbott passed the same exec orders Gov Stitt did years ago.
Thus I reached out to equalitytexas.org and explained how I worked past Gov Stitt's exec order when he had done the exact same thing. Received a response thanking me and inviting me to join. I'm not going to but it was a kind of them to offer.
There is a work around of these bigoted governors. This is how I did it and managed to get past Gov Stitt's exec order. Won't clear up a Birth Certificate, does it really matter? Be prepared as it takes time and yes money but worth both to have the right name and gender marker on all government IDs. The military ID was the hardest to roll over. So many of the girls whom made the trans passage in the early years gave me support and advice, I pray I'm honoring their memory by doing the same. I'm blessed to receive great support at the VA from most doctors, they can't change the rules but they don't have to play by state laws and rules. Much of the attire I describe when I'm out, I'm hoping to encourage the ladies to fit in with society by looking nice. Keep in mind, we are the pioneers for those who follow us just as those who were ahead of ourselves. Do one's best to leave a good impression is all I ask.
Barbie Jean, grew up from the girl I was born as to the woman I am now. The boy facade kept the girl safe until she could be true to herself. Ladies, above all else, stay safe, be aware of your surroundings and those around you in your safe zone. I'm able to do what so many of you can't and that is carry my own protection.
"A" in Walmart, "I feel safer every time I see you in the store."
This must be done in sequence and it takes time. The military was the last because they need two government IDs with picture before they will change the military ID. Each step is necessary, it can't be hurried.

Sir, Ms:
Gov Stitt of Oklahoma passed an executive order stating the same thing as what those in Texas are now facing. To some of us this was a double gotchu as our birth certificate couldn't be amended nor the revised gender be changed on the DL. Not able to change any of the government legal documents meant the military ID couldn't be changed either. One must have legal government IDs with picture in order to change one's military ID.
I expect all this will eventually work its way through court as it is discrimination against the smallest class of people, transgendered. This could take time to work its way through courts and even then we have no idea how this will play out. In Oklahoma there is a work around Gov Stitt's exec order on the DL.
Received a legal court order to change my name and gender marker. Make sure one has a dozen notarized copies of the court order because that many or more will be needed, as one is sent in for each license, document legal change or request. The same day I stopped in the Social Security Office and applied for a new SS card. Two weeks later I received a new SS card with the same SS number as before but with my new name.
With a court order of approved name and gender change which Oklahoma doesn't recognize and a new SS card, I turned in my old passport and applied for a new passport with the name and gender marker change. Thankfully our Federal Government recognizes a court order even if my state doesn't. I received a new passport with the name and gender marker change. With this in hand I applied for a new CDL. The morning I was the first one there and handed the examiners the passport and old CDL, plus the notarized court papers. It took three examiners more than eight hours to issue me a temporary new CDL permit. They had to unlock the doors to let me out as everyone else had gone home. Three weeks later I had my new CDL with my court approved name and gender marker on it along with my picture.
With my new CDL and a copy of the passport I sent in for a new CCL (concealed carry license) along with the required charge for a CCL just as if I was applying for a new one not a replacement. Again include the notarized court papers even if Oklahoma doesn't recognize the court order. It is an extra legal document for the push.Eight days later I had a new card but it had the wrong gender on it. I sent it back requesting a correction. Received a new CCL with correct name and gender marker on it six days later.
It was time to tackle the Government Military as I had three government IDs with my photo on them, Passport, CDL, CC.. Also handed over notarized court papers and they took photo copies of my licenses and SS card. The VA took all my information and paperwork and told me it would take three to four months to get a new ID. I waited three months and inquired about the new ID. No one in the office had any idea I had even applied. Resubmitted again and waited for thirty days to ask about my new ID. No one knew if it had been sent in. Contacted the VA in Amarillo and the lady told me if I had all the IDs and court papers I claimed it would take a couple days to get a new ID. Four days after visiting the Amarillo VA she called me. She had my new ID with the right name and gender marker.
For all the military vets there are a lot more forms to send off than just with the VA to make sure one is in the military records with the right name and gender. Oklahoma may never revise my birth certificate but I don't care. I'm at the age I'll never apply for any high security jobs where that would be needed. Besides with the court order would it really make any difference to a company if there was a clerical error on the BC?
Before deciding on a passport there was an alternate route to getting a new CDL I was considering. Colorado doesn't have a problem with changing DL. I was thinking of renting a room in Colorado for a residence, turning in my Oklahoma CDL and applying for a new CDL via Colorado. For veterans the Passport is the better option, it gives us those government IDs with our picture on them, Passport, CDL, and CCL to tackle the VA log jam. The VA gives me four gov. IDs with my picture, name, and gender marker. It was a long way around Gov Stitt's exec order but worth it. I'm legally me without question if I am ever pulled over for a vehicle check or a police officer asks for an ID. All those IDs are a heck of a security and safety net most never understand because they were never denied by one's own government who they are.
I pray those in Texas find a work around to the identity and life they are driven to find. I have a lot of kin in Texas.
Hugs people

I'm concerned about concealed weapons permit.
You don't need guns in a civilised country - oops, it's the US, my mistake.

got news for you
ive had one since i left the military. the one time i didnt have it with me was the time i needed it. got the worse beating of my life .so i go no where with out it. you dont live the the southern u.s. so you have no understanding how it is here and how dangerous it is for us here .
Lots of "Don't Need" in Civilization
Don't need vacations, private vehicles. Don't need wheat, meat, food for those who don't provided it themselves. Don't need doctors, hospitals for those who can't take care of their own health. Don't need tractors, trucks, or airplanes nor trains. The list is endless for the don't need for those who aren't needing what the other person does need.
Thinking everyone must conform to one's own lifestyle, ideas, and beliefs is usually the lack of understanding or living in another's situation or life. The list of companies is pretty long of those who bought into and pushed the Woke, DEI, LGBT ideas and values on the public has cost them millions. Wars and millions of lives have been fought and lost on the "you must accept" our way of thinking and living. Some of those with the greatest minds of mankind have been put to death for thinking and doing outside the norm.
It would be wrong for me to tell someone else they must believe and think the same as me because I didn't agree with how they lived or what they said. Last thoughts on this subject. The American Revolution began because the King ordered all colonial arms to be confiscated, or disarm the people so they couldn't defend themselves. And true or not Japan didn't try and invade the U.S. because it was said behind every blade of grass someone was armed.
A small rebellion against a corrupt government. This is why those in power want everyone disarmed.

Because Twitter (not X) has famously been ultra-profitable since Elon took over? Fox having to stump up $800 million for promoting lies and here in the UK, right-wing 'antiwoke' GB News has been hemorrhaging money since it started. One of the biggest mistakes made by conservatives is assuming their views are majority or somehow 'default.' On a local level, perhaps, but rarely as the polled group grows larger.
I consider myself lucky to have never owned, held or even seen a handgun in real life. I see no circumstances under which I would ever need one where I live. And if, somehow, that changed, I would seek to change where I live at the earliest opportunity.

They are still in business but they have lost millions if one cares to look behind the MSM curtain of lies.

Trump is in great shape politically and financially if one would stop watching an listening to the lies of MSM and Trump Haters. https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/4642644-democrats-shoul...
I don't care if anyone carries or doesn't carry protection. What makes me so threatening to anyone other than their own belief? Is it not a double standard demanding everyone else give up what they believe and believe exactly the same as I do?

Not exactly a headliner in MSM as it doesn't fit the liberal narrative.
