So yesterday, mom and I got laundry and groceries done, and then we took Sam to a bookstore.
Unlike most places, they were allowing dogs to come in, probably because of the heat, so I was in heaven meeting several pups and giving them some petting.
Which made me one happy Dottie!

... I wake up in the morning (always an auspicious start, someday I won't), gently grab Sandy (nee Teddy) Bear, tell her "Let's go have a good day", and proceed with doing same.

One of my child-hood fantasies was to stay overnight al our local Science Museums or Libraries.
"No Santa Clause' was a trivial trauma compared to "Wait! They turn off the Exhibits and lights!?!?"
Reality imitates fantasy: Said local Science Museum (and others, plus Libraries, I think) are now doing 'sleepovers' for Members (and Families.)
