Okay so last night, I dreamed I was back in university, and for some reason I decided I was ready to come out as Dorothy.
I was told there was a building with a lot of clothes and other items being given away, so I went there, and after riding the most bizarre series of elevators ever (it was more like a ride at an amusement park) I found the place.
But looking at the clothes, they were apparently discards from the drama department, and I decided that was of little help to me, as I wanted to look as much like a regular female student as possible.
So I went back on the crazy elevators to leave the building, and woke up.

When I first came out to myself
I started going to the local Resource Center which also supported trans folk, we would have clothing exchanges.at the time I had lost most of my weight and gotten down to 155 pounds which left me with a lot of fat clothes which the trans guys immediately snapped up meanwhile I stocked up on a lot of women's clothes while I could. I went to one of the used clothing sellers where I was told "Sir those are women's clothes" to which I replied "I know". That was one of the reasons I really preferred the clothing exchanges .

A very troublesome Ghost was repeatedly giving me grief, interfering with what I wanted to do ...
Losing my temper, my patience, my 'cool', my alleged wisdom, and a bit of memory, all at the same time (bad combination...), I blasted the Ghost with "! Curse you and all your descendants !"
And promptly remembered the Ghost was my ancestor ...

...of my favorite panel in Al Jaffee's "Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions" series: standing in front of an elevator with arrows pointing upward on the side panel, the overhead panel and inside the elevator door, our straight woman asks, "is this elevator going up?" To which the elevator operator, with a maniacal grin on his face, says, "We're going to fool everybody and go sideways this time."
