Patreon and Something about the Mockreet

Okay first, I'm going to cover some of the commentary I made. Yes, I get angry when people Kudo but don't respond because I literally have no idea how I'm doing, or if anyone actually likes it. I spend a lot of time thinking out scenes and in the end, I have no idea if they were good, bad, or something in between. I mean, there was an entire chapter of The Mockreet that I planned for months and-

Okay, but with that aside, it has been explained to be that some people don't comment because they wish to remain anonymous, and I'm going to admit right now that while it should be easy for me to understand, given my history of hiding in plain sight under Tori's nose, I also have to point out that I've been surgically extricated from the closet so many times(against my will every single time), that I don't remember what it's like to have to hide. I mean, I'm probably wrong, as I am about many things. so if I upset anyone, I apologize, because I can, among many things, be an idiot.

Now, with that out of the way, I want to introduce everyone to my Patreon. While it's not strictly about money for me, Patreons get the new chapters at least a week(or more) in advance. Subscribers also get access to any new material I write - and I have a lot of stuff planned.

My Patreon

As of right now, this is the plan:

Book 1(Dear Rylee)- June-September 2004
Book 2(Dear Ariel)- September 2004 - January 2005
Book 3(Rylee Dearest)- February 2005 - June 2005
Book 4(Dear Chelly)- July 2005 - December 2005
Book 5(To Whom it May Concern) - January 2006 - May 2006
Book 6(Love, Tori) - June 2006 - January 2007 - March 2018

They're all mapped out, I just have to write them.

Today, I'm going to be working on the final two chapters of Dear Rylee and throwing them in the release queue on Patreon, honestly, thank god that's done because the flashbacks were killing me.

As a side project I'm working on a complete, more grounded version of The Mockreet under the working title 'Fen and Fern'. It's a different type of story - much more straighforward with no paranormal elements. I'm not 100% sure when that's going to come out but it's a definite side project, given the size and scope of Dear Ariel

Dear Ariel

Dear Ariel is going to open with a flashback to Ariel's escape from their parent's home, which happens shortly after Rylee's. In the main story we'll deal with Rylee's challenges in high school, as well as her decision to remain stealth despite the social injustices happening around her. Mostly, though, we'll deal with Ariel's life, how she copes without Rylee, and a set of flashbacks to her childhood. Basically, we'll be getting her perspective on the events of their childhood. There will also be some Chelly and an all new main character that will play a huge part in the rest of the series.

So I thank you for joining me on the journey thus far, despite all of my random temper tantrums about comments. I wish I could say that it will never happen again, but, it will the next time I have a mood swing.
