300+ Up on BCTS

I had thought to announce that last month was marked by my 300th story on Big Closet Top Shelf but it appears that I may have already passed that mark long ago. I will explain the confusion later.

I received a nice message from Dot before the year turned commending me on the variety of my stories, and that is what I am trying to achieve. This is despite the fact that I confine myself to stories that are real (no magic or fantastical sex change) and in the main involve a change where the subject is (at least at first) unwilling.

Dot had gone back to one of my earlier stories and that I what is have done too, in a recent break. It also reminded me that my friend Sigh (not been heard of in a while so I hope all is well) set about rating my first 50 stories here, and then my second, then third 50. This is where I have confused my numbers as I thought the story count since “New Forms” would bring me up to 300, but I think Sigh was short and I am long.

Anyway, I thought that I would have a look at my old stories in my break, and rate them in sets of 50 as Sigh did.

I hope that she will not mind but I have supplied her ratings (but not comments) on the sets she reviewed.

Sigh’s Ranking of my first 50
1. Talk Show – originally a collection of talk show transcripts about a TG cop drama on TV
2. Lumberjackie – A logger gets injured and discovers his true self
3. Sporus – based on fact, a slave is made female to amuse the emperor
4. Transwife – A transwoman’s husband reveals that he is trans too
5. Partners – His business partner needs a new identity to return to France, so travels as his wife.
6. Neuron Transfer – the brain of an old business tycoon is used to spark the mind of a junkie-girl
7. Pit Crew – 2 young motor sport fans get to join the pit crew as girls
8. Instrument – A simple guy is persuaded to be an accomplice in a kidnapping … but is it that?
9. Amazon – Based on fact – a man becomes a female bodyguard
10. Influenced – A web surfer becomes infatuated with a beauty vlogger

1. Squaddie – A soldier dresses as a woman to assist in a military operation
2. Rear Window – originally a series about a person blackmailed to cross-dress by a distant voyeur
3. She Wanted a Daughter -
4. Rose of Kandahar – A US soldier assumed dead is kidnapped by the Taliban and feminized
5. Friendship – A friendship between an older and a younger man becomes something more
6. Rivals – two men constantly competing against one another take things to extremes
7. Signover – blackmailed into signing over his business, he (now she) gets it all back
8. Underage – dressing a female to appear older, his life spins out of control
9. Enchantment Park – a young man gets work at a theme park as a princess
10. Addiction – two scientists experiment with substance addiction with strange results for one
Sigh’s Ranking of my third 50
1. Specialist Nanny – Taking on nanny roles to help out his sister he lands the role of a lifetime
2. Immersion – A sociology student immerses himself in the TG lifestyle and then the femaleness
3. His and Hers – a story of transition becomes 2 stories when told from 2 viewpoints.
4. Bait – An undercover cop posing as a TG prostitute finds himself captive of the serial killer.
5. New Contract – a hired killer is forced into femininity and finds that it changes everything.
6. New Plumbing – A man meets a woman on a plane, who was once a plumber.
7. Pretty – A transwoman call girl takes on the role of escort at a party.
8. Girls Love Paris Best – A naming mistake leads to changes for an exchange student.
9. Thai Plastic – A manager working in Thailand befriends a group of ladyboys
10. The Option

My Rating for my fourth 50
1. Summer Times - A Dickensian tale. First on my list just because I enjoyed writing it
2. The Stand In - A theatre story - the prompt fills in for the star, and fills in beyond that too
3. Homebreaker – He cross-dresses to use his girl's father's apartment and ends up the father's girl
4. Laundromat - Just a simple tale about a cross dresser being encouraged to go further
5. Becoming a Gill - A wastrel inveigles his way into a family
6. House Spouse - A pal from work goes missing visits him at home and finds him changed/abused
7. Head Injury - Was it the injury? Or did it just end of his/her inhibitions?
8. Her Roommate - A threesome that might have been a tragedy is confirmed as a romcom (?)
9. Marketing - Marketing for a plasic surgeon, it is his idea to demonstrate reversibility …
10. Robber - A robber wears women’s clothes instead of a mask, becomes trapped in his disguise

My Rating for my fifth 50
1. The Complete Rear Window - This was a project on FM that became something more
2. License to Kiss - James Bond is always a winner, and this was fun
3. Catch and Release - A very short piece that I am pleased with.
4. Snake Oil - I wrote this for my collection of western novellas and I like it the best of those
5. The Translator - This story involves a lesbian, which is uncommon for me, but ends in my way.
6. Lunacy - I think good-natured insanity has its place in the world?
7. Replacing Chloe - A murder mystery turned on its head, with complexities.
8. Life is Like a Wheel - A clash between 2 bikies turns into something that could be love?
9. The Object of Sex - Oddly, a sex addict who objectifies women, becomes one of them.
10. Jealous – A very short rant by way of denial that I think hits a spot?

My Rating for my sixth 50
1. Promotional Advantage One of my earlier stories, posted late, and a favorite.
2. A Tear for Bunny - Written for my second book of "Crimes and Romances".
3. The Editor - A TG writer writing about a TG writer.
4. Skater Girl - Competitive sport is just the trigger - there is much more going on here.
5. A Different Life - Two conversations about transition, and that is all there is to this.
6. The Way to Go - Another of my sex- bot Sci-Fi fantasies, but a good one I think?
7. Cover Story - Set in the cold war, when women were women, and so were a few others.
8. Lonely - A strange tale with a strange tail.
9. Family Counselling - Unlikely and humorous, but fun
10. Kerry Cottage - Man meets transwoman, they make love, and then …?

I am hoping that readers on this site might go back and have a look at these stories and maybe others.

Over on Fictionmania I am nearing 1,000 postings when you add my little scribbles, but here I try to stick to stories.

What I really need is a "story wrangler" to help me keep all this stuff in order as I see that there have been a few repeats here! Volunteers?
