I am just letting people know that I have lodged my entry and I think it is the first one.
Being not content with my last adventure doing the silk road by road and rail east to west, I am off again soon and my not be back until late October, so I am getting in now, although Christmas still seems a long way off!

The silk road was the last trip
She gave us zero hints as to where she is going this time.
I hope that her 'silk road' trip included Samarkand (Uzbekistan). I visited it while working in Tashkent in 1995/96. The architecture is stunning.
There are many different routes the silk caravans used on their journey from China to Turkey.
