Quite busy actually the latter part of the week.

The weather has been quite benign, mostly dry with some sunshine and not too much wind, i set out on Foxy Thursday morning hoping to get a decent ride in. Up into the Cotswolds then morth via Tetbury to my lunch halt near Stroud before taking a more westerly loop to return to Brizzle environs. Quite pleasant, racking up 113km with 830m of up, the longest if not quite hilliest ride of 2023 so far.

Friday i got back down to some writing, completing a better conclusion to the new Trtixie tale begore giving up for the day.

I didn't fancy a long ride when i got up Saturday morning so i took a gentle ride to the 'cafe' at Oldbury barely 25km away. As is often the case i didn't head straight back but instead did almost 50 more kilometres on the return to end up with 82km added to the totals, pushing me over 1000km for the year so far. It was almost comfortable too, most of the ride was between 6 and 7c - almost tropical! I then spent the evening putting the new Trixie scribbles in order, i seemed to have more than the usual numver of typos, most of which i blame on my keyboard only having 10 legible keys!

And so to today. Well this morning was largely taken with cooking Sunday lunch, todays effort was lamb in the hole, think toad in the hole but with neck of lamb instead of sausages. Anyhoo, it went down well enough with the guinea pig, i mean Aunty Bev even if the Yorkshire didn't rise very much! Then this afternoon i've been sorting out a cover image before commiting the new book to Amazon. The ASIN is B0BVKSLY2P which will hopefully be live in the next day or so - just in time to give yourselves a Valentines gift!

Of course you might want to have a read of the first two books before hand!

Believe it or not its been two and a half years since the last book, hopefully you won't be waiting that long before the follow on to the new story. I'll return to writing Gaby, book 28 indeed, during the week, i've the start of the plot in my head but where it will go is anyones guess!

Back to the present, todays Gaby chapter is quite short, thats just the way it goes, next weeks edition is a good deal longer, *Chapter 16*
Good Times Remembered is a stark reminder that life goes on and people change.

Well thats it, i'll ber nack with more musings on Wednesday,
Tschussie,
