Okay so the last couple of days I have really been struggling with depression and also having stomach issues, and it was getting to be a bit much.
Then today we went over to my aunt Terry's house, and met her new dog, a retriever mix named Rocky.
And he turned my day around.
gave lots of kisses, wanted to be petted often, just the thing I needed.
I am grateful for these moments.

Yep. Just the thing ...
One time, during a long work trip away from home & dog ... Oh, and Wife also ... :( , I was in a park and I approached a friendly dog. We were "into" the greeting thing, when her Guardian says: "Oh no! She has fur all over your pants!" Dog and I kept on doing the "intro" thing while I said "No worries. If I didn't want this to happen, it would not have."
Then we went on our separate ways. And I had my "dog fix".

Chicago has "dog bars", where Companions are welcome to come drink (water!) with their Guardians. ... Too bad that I'm not a go-to-bars kind of person. I could come home sober and full of snacks, orange juice, cola and dog hair!
Hmmm. If you work it right ...

My mind just ran off without me and came back with this: Terry brings over Rocky, she points at Dog and says "Stay". Points at you and says "Sit!" ... I'll be going now ... giggling ...
