Maybe a second bank account in another bank so that an accident does not cause a problem?
Banks are not as good about their cyber security as one would expect unfortunately so keeping multiple accounts over separate banks seems logical.

We have bank accounts in three banks for those reasons. In three different states, too. But that didn't help in this circumstance.
