I just 'whomped up' a couple of new batches of Huggles.

Ethiopian dinner (all vegan! (*)) with friends 'old', and I hope, very new. Spent the meal across from a Lady who was new to Meetup, and so, of course, brand new to our group. (Hope she comes back after meeting me...) One of our guys was doing some rhythmic writhing, greatly amusing a Baby on the other side of his table. I told him I had caught him table dancing with Baby ... And I found a very different place for my eyeballs while Mom and Baby proved they are mammals ...

Visited an animal sanctuary where I've been going for years. It was one of our Summer monthly vegan potlucks (*). So meeting friends 'old' and new, great food, and 'meet and greet' the animals who were hanging about in the barn. Residents include duck, goose, visiting feral cat(s), llamas, alpacas, donkeys (when they 'sound off', I use my standard joke of "Doesn't anybody ever oil the horses?"), goats, pigs, horses (full size and 'minis'), cows.

The 10? yo boy in a new-to-sanctuary family ran out of phone battery taking pictures. (Mom lent him hers). He was thrilled to maybe get a picture/video of a barn rat. For some reason, far fewer rats since the cats started hanging about...

PS: "Baby" your knee (unless doc says different) for at least a week after you think it's healed. Maybe pain meds at night. Sorry, but daytime and moving about you want at least a bit of pain to protect knee...) I'd offer you some tea, but you have to your own buy & brew.

(*) I love vegan potlucks and similar. I can eat anything I want, and I don't have to ask, worry, check, or have anyone plop a slab-o-death on my table ... I just eat and enjoy the people and food.
