I just finished re-reading "Legacy of the Anari" by Ashley Blayze. I have no idea how I found the story after a dozen years. In my opinion, the story is as good as many of the other SCI FI greats, and yes, it contained Gender Change but without some of the tiresome tropes that most TG tales contain.
Sadly, the Author seems to have done this one off, and disappeared. I do hope that she has gone onto better things and had great success doing them.

It is also one of my favorites and one I would be willing to buy especially if we got the rest of the story.

It Didn't Seem Over
Yes, in the story line, she did mention returning to the planet and straightening things out.
I wonder if the Author was a student of Archeology trying to make sense of the empty ruins all over the world? Many Abrahamic religion scholars think that it all began before the Sumerians down in Southern Iraq around present day Basra. I love reading Genetic studies that insist that it all began in Central Africa and suddenly jumped to China. AG Riddle has done an interesting series, asserting that Aliens helped to start it all.
Legend of the Anari
This is one of my favorite stories. I have reread it several times and it is one of my goto stories. I to would like to see it continued to see how she grew into her role as an Anari. This is a very well written story and ranks up with some of the best science fiction stories I have read. To me the story has a TG element but it the action and adventure that propels the story to greatness.
