Yesterday, in the early afternoon I started experiencing some things: trembling hands, upset stomach, racing heart. I went to urgent care finally and they sent me to the hospital ER.
Diagnosis for the moment is paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. I now have prescriptions to treat this and orders that I should see a cardiologist soonest.
I didn't get to bed till after two last night and I'm tired, but this may explain the rising number of times I've just been too tired to do much lately.
But I'm home and I mostly feel fine.

How can people in this community provide you more help?
Money is always a concern, which translates into worry, which can translate into heart tremers. (Since I retired my blood pressure readings have dropped twenty points -- top and bottom.)
Is it possible that people could donate time to help Doppler market the books they publish, bringing revenues up for the site?

Erin, what do you do for relaxing away from the channel? This thing might have been fun and exceiting to begin with but now it's taking it's toll. Jill wrote Texas Two Step where the Dairy Queen owner thought it was fun..., at first. Eventually instead of him running the store it began running him.
After losing Jean, I realized everything we both worked so hard for all our lives meant nothing without her there to share life with. What is your reason for investing your life in this channel?
There is absolutely nothing physical here on this star ship we call earth I am taking with me when I turn this life in. I take all the love of family, friends, and the knowledge and experience and that is it.
I'm going to ask God to let me pass on coming back again until this whole world straightens out again.

AFIB (pretty much) requires treatment.
So get to cardiologist >soonest<.
First drug of choice is Coumidin/warfarin.
Yeah, a screwed-up heart rhythm can leave tissues (muscles, etc) without enough blood and oxygen, and therefor not enough 'oomph' to do things, so tired makes sense.
I experience just about zero side effects, or interference with my life(style), except I'm told to keep what I eat "regular" - eat the 'same things' day to day,

Coumadin
Several years ago I was on coumadin for about six months due to a DVT. I was told to stay away from green vegetables (not just leafy) to reduce the amount of vitamin K, which promotes clotting. As it turns out, at the time I regularly consumed green vegetables, and dining out at the time always included side dishes of green vegetables, so I did require a lot of adjustment and deprivation on my part. Fortunately, there has been no recurrence of thrombosis, so I have been able to return to my normal diet.
Actually, the biggest problem was the frequent blood tests to determine the correct dosage of coumadin. For a few months I had blood drawn two to three times a week. I got to know the receptionists at the lab quite well. And I had enough scar tissue on the inside of my elbow that the lab techs had to switch arms.
Atrial Fibrillation
I didn't even know I had it until I got an ECG. After a couple more tests they put in a pacemaker, a very simple operation. That was six years ago and my heart has been runnning perfectly ever since.
I hope yours can be treated with drugs but if not get a pacemaker. The main problem is cost. Luckily mine was covered by insurance.

It is safer and easier to use.
You might ask your cardiologist about it.

I have a prescription for Eliquis but it is $550 a month since I do not have drug coverage on my insurance. Working on that.
