I was reminded of this story after reading another 'Looking for a Story' post, in which the MC may be over weight, and I think Leslie Moore's "Copy. Cure." may have been the front runner

I just spent the last several hours reading and re-reading the list of author names but I just cant get Desiree and her story "The Bronze Maiden" out of my mind

Set in future
May be Dystopian earth? (BladeRunner overtones, may be steam punk?)
Ruled by Corporations

MC is an (overweight?) hacker, (Female Persona Online?)
built a mainframe from obsolete hardware
Goes out to collect a replacement part,
has a meal at a street cafe, while waiting for contact (can't remember if this is for the part or for the meet for the exchange of info about the hack.

I believe there may be some kind of cyber interface, like in the 'Johnny Mnemonic' movie

MC is hired for a high level hack, and is in 2 minds whether to take contract
Contract turns out to be a Goldilocks trap

MC and the Corporate Fixer (I can't think of a better term) switch bodies via the net
after the Fixer and a Corporate hit team raid his apartment.
