I got a call from Cathy Michel today. She's still in the hospital, doing better in some aspects. They have got her breathing problems sorted out but they are keeping her to do more tests on her heart function. She's with the VA in Western New York but may get transferred to a different hospital where they may be better able to do the tests her doctors want.
Hospital internet does not allow her access to BigCloset so she asked me to write this note to let people know what is happening. She'll try to keep me posted by telephone so I can report on what is happening with her.
Please, keep Cathy in your thoughts as we are in hers.

Hon, you know I love you and worry about you as I do all the boys and girls. Hospitals aren't even that good of a place to visit, much less bunk out in. Keep in mind hospitals need to be in the same caliber as robbing banks, in and out. So buck up little lady, stop flirting with the nurses and doctors and get better and come back home.

Cathy called again
She sounded better, she's got the tube that kept her lungs inflated removed and is breathing well without it. They're planning an angiogram later this week with the thought that her heart might improve function with a stent.
She's in good spirits but tires quickly and misses everyone here since she can't get to BigCloset on the hospital wifi. I promised her we would all be thinking of her and hoping for her recovery.
