"Pete" Petersen had what it took to play football— then he woke up one morning and he didn't have it anymore. He had something else. Would they even let him play football--let HER play football?

What if I didn’t tell anyone?

I pulled the mirror around so I could look at my face. I didn’t look any different. Same dark hair, same blue eyes, same slight cleft in my chin, and I still had the sharp cheekbones that made me look more Indian than I really was. I felt of my bicep; I still seemed to have my muscles, though I’ve never been a giant of a guy.

I didn’t see any reason why I couldn’t still play football if no one found out.

How do you manage to write

How do you manage to write several stories at the same time? Do you put on different hats or change the color of your nail polish with each story chapter? Are you in different rooms of the house? Lol. But, really, I just dropped in to ask when we can see more Sam & Del. And to ask to borrow some virtual sugar.

Hugs!

Sammy

How not?

How do other people NOT write several stories at the same time? :)

I ALWAYS have more story ideas than I can work on. Currently, I have at least sixteen stories in progress on my desktop, and at least one more on a virtual desktop I share with Maryanne Peters and another I share with Melanie Ezell. :) There are another 20 to 30 unfinished stories on my drives which I always hope to get to sooner or later and occasionally open up to jot down an idea I've had.

I don't know if anyone else works this way. :) But it isn't the only way I can work. Butterscotch, for instance, got 26 chapters written in one month while I didn't work on anything else.

More Sam and Del soon, I hope. :) Oh! That's what you said! Well, I agree, Sam is a hoot. :D

Erin

I have fun writing all my stories but those two are particular delights. :)
