After I published my last little piece, I was informed I've been mislabeling them as "drabbles". I always thought a drabble was 100 words or less, apparently its 100 words exactly. So what do I do about the section of my stories titled "Dorothy's Drabbles"?

Suggestions please.

Keep them

I'm not nit-piking...
Leave them as Drabbles.
That is unless Erin want it other wise.

Drabble ~ 100 words

I thought a drabble was "~" 100 words per the selection box when you create fiction. Not exactly 100 words. So I'd say do nothing, you're fine as is.

Dorothy's Dabbles?

giggles. I could call them "snippets" or "snapshots" as well

Don't put them in the same box together

They breed and multiply like rabbits. It's best to keep them separated so one doesn't end up with a computer full of dabbles. I found they have little taste and for the most part so unlike rabbits their lack of fur won't keep anyone warm. It's usually best to send them on as soon as they appear. As a bunch of them eat bytes like crazy. Hungry little critters to say the least.
I hope this helps.

I think you're confusing them with tribbles. See Star Trek: The Trouble With Tribbles

Drabbles on another website were defined as exactly one hundred words. Here, it's just an approximation.

AA_Oops ... introduction

Suggest add one more not-drabble, as an introduction. A title like "AA_ oops intro" should sort first, and might say something like:

"I misunderstood the rules for a drabble, so most of these are not drabbles. Please enjoy anyway. And stop counting the words :) ."

It's way more fun enjoying all your stories and stuff, than beating you up for a mistake.

And thanks for writing them!

PS: I use LIbreOffice Writer, a free clone of MS Word, from PortableApps.com. The "Tools" button shows the sub-command "Word count" (of selected text).
