It's time to enter your award-worthy books in the biggest and best book awards contest on the planet, "for independent authors and publishers only." $95 per category entry and just $55 to add a regional or ebook category.
The Independent Publisher Book Awards 2020 contest is now accepting entries from independent authors and publishers with books intended for an English speaking audience. Books released between January 1, 2018 and February 28, 2020, or with 2018-2020 copyrights are eligible. Entry fee is $95 per title, per category with a $55 'add-on' fee for regional/ebook entries. Final entry deadline is February 22nd.

I wish all who may enter the best of luck. And remember it isn't the end of the world if you don't win. You're some of the best writers in the world. I'm proud of all of you. I'm not prejudice..., not me.

There are dozens of more contests all over the world and this one repeats every year. Someone wins a lottery, some author does too.

Oh! How quaint
Your $95 entry must be on a cheque or money order.
This is 2020 not 1920. Why can't they accept credit/debit cards? Yet you can submit your entry electronically but that will cost you another hefty premium.
Pah. Getting a US Money order costs money. A quick search says £15.00 to £25.00.
When most agents and publishers have stopped dealing with 'dead tree' sumbissions this seems a very backward looking competition.
Ah well it made me laugh but I'll pass.

Book Authors Publishers Expositions all over the world
Two of the largest are in Germany and India. I'd ask Monique about Germany if I was interested. I'm sure she can advise even if she hasn't been. The opportunity if one is picked up by one of the large publishers is like any thing else in life. The girl in True Grit made only one movie. And so it is with a lot of writers. Gone With the Wind was a one book wonder for the author. The one wonder singers is crowded with wannabes.
There is no such thing as failure unless one either never tries or quits trying when their dream or goal wasn't accomplished.

Yes,
the book fair in Frankfurt am Main. Went there a number of times as a kid, overwhelming! Even then you needed a week to see all halls. In those days it was all about sales, though.
Later I only went to another world leading fair in Frankfurt, the music fair in February.
Hugs, Hun, but I have not been back to Germany since 2001, I don't like it there any more.
Get some nice glasses or a sawn off shotgun, can't miss with that one close up. giggles.

Cash Grab?
This honestly screams of a cash-grab. I mean you are asking for an extra $50 premium for eBook submissions? That seems a little extreme.
A Published Author said to me only last Sunday
Never pay to get your work seen by a publisher.
Never pay an Agent. They earn their $$$ by taking their 10-20% of your income.

If I had the $95 entry fee I'd give it to BCTS instead
...and take my reward in good karma.
Unfortunately both my writing and my thinking
are just too fucking weird to have any commercial potential
or widespread audience appeal. And I'm finally good with that.

I mean, I'm already a world renowned author, selling into Europe, the Antipodes, the Americas and even Japan and I haven't had to pay for the privilege.
As Sam says, they pay you not the other way round.
