Not sure weather it matters

Yep, that good old topic of English conversation, the weather, has certainly been varied this week!

Oh nothing extreme but breezy, overcast and sometimes damp against a background of pre Easter temperatures! But does that matter? its not stopped me doing anything - more on that later.

Firstly today, yes there's new Gaby - Paint it Black is the next chapter of Girl's on Fire.

Next up, I did promise some pics from Germany, I finally remembered so here you go!

So, back to doing stuff. Well Thursday I sort of curtailed my ride a bit, the weather was quite windy and damp at times so it was essentially out, eat my egg on toast and back!

Friday, well I usually write after the shopping - which I did but instead of the two chapters I was hoping for I only managed one, bit of a blow but not the end of the world.

Then yesterday - the forecast looked drier at least so I set off for Wakefield. Somewhere along the line that changed to the Doncaster moors (think Holland but flatter!) where I stopped for lunch. It got even weirder then, I headed east to loop back home but ended up at the Humber Bridge somewhat further away than i'd intended. That resulted in a dash through damp Lincolnshire (it was dry in Yorkshire!), catching a train for a couple a dozen miles before riding the last bit home. 206km, a total of 9.5 hours from when I left home (only a bit over 7 riding though) and a pair of tired legs! What I was thinking i'll never know, Its a good job I don't usually ride Sundays or Mondays!

And so looking forward this week its writing tomorrow and a shorter ride on Tuesday with hopefully a bit more writing after - if the weather permits!

Well that's it for today,
