I made a change in how the site looks over the weekend and no one commented. I'm curious, did anyone notice? If you're using the Reversi theme, I didn't make the change to it yet. :)

Erin, be very very careful. Changing the look of a well-loved site can result in all kinds of unpredictable behaviour by the regular visitors. Another site, concerning a totally different pastime/lifestyle, I haunt gets massive numbers of anguished appeals to restore the status quo when the web master gets bored and starts playing. It's even worse there because large numbers of us are acquainted in RL so serious damage can be done if we get really mad. LOL

Alexis and Geoff, you're using the Bigcloset theme. The Reversi theme is for people who liked the old arrangement with the nav menus in the left column. :)
If no one figures it out by tomorrow, I'll fess up to what I did.

Well I Noticed, But
I wasn't sure who did what. I was wondering if the new set up is an improvement over the older set up. As far As I'm concerned, i like the new set up.

I lightened the colored backgrounds. The old front page had ecru behind the stories with yellow behind the headers. I lightened both to pale manila. The comments used to have a sort of aqua background and I lightened that to a light mint. The column with the PW ads had a darker, redder pink. I think it's all more legible now, but I could be wrong.

Sorry Erin, I'm colorblind. Shade changes are almost always lost on me. If you say you changed it, I won't argue.
When my wife and I were buying our first condo, many years ago, I walked in and said, "And all our furniture and stuff will work because the carpet is the same as in our apartment.
My wife just laughed and told the realtor to ignore me, the carpet in our appartment was a light rose, the carpet in the condo was an off white.

Personally I'd rather have the other bold colours back, This all looks too washed out.

But, no I won't. Sorry. It just makes extra work for me to update two different sets of themes anytime I need to change things. I can leave the Reversi theme with the old colors. But I won't add a third theme. Sorry.

I had noticed too,
however, I don't feel it's my place to comment unless I feel strongly about something; in which case I'd have done so in a personal note. Whatever you like is probably fine with me, and I am appreciative of the stuff you do that isn't obvious - so thank you for all of that.
