It's back - but different
The Private Messages are back, but it sure looks different.
Also it appears, although I can't be sure, that the "new" flag on sent mail that used to stay on until the recipient read the message, seems to be gone.

Yes, the new tag seems to be gone. Why I don't know. It doesn't work over at StarDust either. I looked at the code, it's still there in the code. I'm baffled.

PMs working for me ...
... at 02.58 your time (according to the server time display). I just opened and read a message that was posted abut 9 hours ago. Didn't need to reply though. Hope you get it fixed soon because it's a useful service for which I thank you.
Generally this site gets better and better. Your efforts are appreciated.

Now, I can no longer move the P.M.'s to other areas, I can delete, but not move them. I have kept all my P.M.'s in case I need a reminder of what was said before and in some cases, to remember a dear friend.

No email notice?
Is this new PM system not sending out notices to a registered user's email account anymore?

I usually check often enough not to get that. It's a cronjob (auto-thingie) that isn't run in the middle of the day so I usually get one only if I get a PM late at night. Then I get an email in the morning. It's also configurable in the |My account| settings. I get them from Stardust and this is the version of PM that SD is running.

That's just it
I have found 2 PM's tonight by coming to BC, previously I'd get an email to notify me of a new PM, even if I was on the BC website at the time. And there no longer seems to be a setting for email notification in the My Account settings. I even logged out and logged back in to double-check.
