After too long, I have a new book—Day in the Sun. It's set in Hollywood of the 1930s and has taken a mountain of research, but it's been a real labor of love, something I've wanted to write about for quite awhile.

I hope you like it as much as I did writing it!

Great news but…

… when I clicked the link to buy I noticed the Amazon description doesn't mention the number of pages this book has or its digital size (typically a page is about 2kb). Your books Karen have always been worth buying and offered an average or long read however many so called TG books are only essay length.
I would ask Amazon if I knew how but maybe you or someone else reading this can solve my concern.

I think

Word Wise needs to be enabled for Amazon to measure the file size and number of pages. I notice this book doesn't do that though the others do.

Size of "Day in the Sun"

It's possible that Amazon has been sluggish getting all the book details posted -- it was uploaded in the middle of July 25th but somehow has a publishing date of the 24th. Amazon assures me their records show it was published on the 25th ... so why does the Amazon page say the 24th? Obviously, they're a little scrambled at the moment ...

As to the size, it's big -- one of the longest I've written in one (unlike the On the Road--Again and Port books), over 250,000 words. And I hope you enjoy every one of them!

I've not read this one yet -

I've not read this one yet - have a bit of a backlog of books to work through - but it's on my list. Have to ask, though... is there plans for any more Port books or is that over and done with now?

Oh, and Amazon is claiming 745 pages.
