I can understand the confusion over the title. The BAND Linkin Park got their start in Lincoln Park, MI, when they fronted for a concert by local Detroit native Kid Rock. They decided early on to alter the name, so as not to bring undue attention to their hometown, should things ever go south. He will be missed, and the town (15 miles away from where I live) has planned a tribute / vigil in his honor. Once things are confirmed, I'll see if I can post something about it.
