Well, it seems like my muse has decided to take a vacation, so any plans I had to provide more unicorns, or more Mercy, or even more Fluke are on hold for the moment.

Muse Vacation Time
It seems to me that when your muse is on vacation, that's the time to dig back into what you've already written, and do the perspiration work of revising and either cutting details from or introducing details into what you've already done. There's the inspiration, and then there's the hard work of implementing the inspiration.

I am discovering that a muse will do that to you.
Mine has ordered me to spend more time with my kids.
I am going to finish A Friend in Need shortly and then occasionally publish until September.
My muse promises she will come back out in the fall with more fun stuff.
Well, off to the movies with one of the kiddos now. Cars 3 -- ugh! Loved Wonder Woman, btw!

Yeah, it sucks
Hopefully, your muse doesn't take semi-annual vacations, like mine does, Dorothy. Hopefully, your muse will be back, after this weekend, feel revived and ready to write more of your short stories.

My Muse took off for Orlando, but she promised she'd be back sooner or later with a whole bunch more micky mouse story ideas for me. Maybe they went on vacation together....
