That's nothing.
You should try watching 24 hours of nothing but static or that white snow when a station went off the air. I used to entertain myself looking at all the imaginary animals, people and whatnot that seemed to show themselves. Quiet entertaining for a school kid whose choice on a long weekend was either that of suffer through another weekend of listening to Watergate hearings.

The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo
Saw them twice in the years before they shortened their name to Oingo Boingo and went rock, and got popular. Huge productions done on a shoestring (a lot like the Elfman brothers' movie FORBIDDEN ZONE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul0Zs3GjcH4 ), hilarious and visually amazing, and with great old time music. Those Betty Boop cartoons really messed with reality, something for the vipers of the era. I think that one originally had Cab Calloway singing, he was a lunatic and a lot of fun too.

That's Danny Elfman's voice on that version but yeah, the original was with Cab Calloway.
Minnie the Moocher is a story song if you listen to all the verses (about ten in the full version) and know the Uptown slang of New York in the Thirties; it tells the tale of a young girl who came to the big city and lived the high life as a rich man's mistress, but died a broken down heroin addict. Sad if you know what the words mean. "Kicking the gong around," for instance, was doing just enough heroin and cocaine to stay awake while stoned.
Ask John Belushi how well that works; they called it "speedballing" when it killed him.
