Sometimes ideas just come into your head and won't go away until they manifest as bits of typescript. This was the case with the start of Bike and Totally Bonkers. Both were intended as one offs. Okay so I did a second of both, and that should have ended the matter, especially of the latter story. Instead it provoked demands for more, including threats from a twelve year old - thank god she doesn't know where I live!

I cannot believe that something I posted late on saturday night/sunday morning could have had nearly eleven hundred hits - I admit some of them were me looking to see fresh comments, but it seems quite popular.And those of the week before are approaching two thousand!

I have commitments, insofar as writing some fresh stuff for the upcoming Gabycon, this year there will be two short stories, one of which will be a bike race. I've done the other which is with my proofers. I'll post them here eventually, though Maddy Bell has first call. She has some new stuff for the Gabycon too. See what you're missing, two authors of international (dis)repute reading their nefarious works live! Plus a chance to ride with the Gabynaris team and their pocket rocket, Saphira! This means I am going to be away for a week and may not be able to post anything, so at least you'll get a rest from my inanities.

I will attempt to get out another Bonkers, as soon as I can, but despite rumours to the contrary, I am only human, a frail female, who just happens to have a large letter 'S' on her cycling shirts (For Specialized, what else did you think? Look if I want to fly I use the traditional broomstick, okay!).
