Didn't click on the link but an anecdote
So here I am, sat at my desk beavering away when discussions around me suddenly mentioned gender changes in people and such. Long and short of it is that: a) Adults are leery of having young, pre-adolescents go full-time, transition etc as they may change their minds or they are 'too young to know.'
I hate overgeneralizations and every kid should be judged individually.
b) hey are finding that the children in their school have a far more open attitude concerning gender.
c) The adults themselves are resigned to adults who transitioned as 'it takes all kinds.' Apparently there has been one previous transitioner and one currently in transition in another building (I work for a big company.)
It is progress, even in the big company I work for who are known for being 80% Republican membership apparently.
