I hope this post isn't violating some kind of site rule, but I need to make my fans and readers aware of something I think is quite critical.
When you read my blog(s) and/or stories, please either comment or PM me your thoughts. Some of you may not realize this, but I really DO READ your comments, and rely on them to gauge whether my writing is being well received, what points need to be addressed and/or expanded upon, and to glean further ideas. Your comments have helped- and continue to help- me develop into a better writer, and, in a way, help encourage me to continue.
Never be afraid to criticize my work. If you truly like a story- or if it touches you in some profound way- let me know HOW AND WHY. While an occasional "I like this" or this is good / sweet / etc." builds my ego, it doesn't give me insight into what I've done right in your eyes.
And, in the off chance you think the story sucks / blows chunks, I need to know that as well. I assure you, I WILL NOT get mad at your criticism, if it is well thought out, pertinent to the story / character development, and relevant. How else will I be able to develop into the kind of writer that you, my reader, deserves? And how will I be able to provide you with the stories you really want, if i don't know what your wishes truly are?

Not a Problem
There's no problem with your request. Feedback is important. To write effectually you have to be able to place yourself in the reader's mind. This is very hard unless you have a connection.
Stephen King writes for his wife's approval. He has her satisfaction in mind at all times while he writes.
Over the years I've come to know who I'm writing for on BC through comments, but more through personal contact. It helps.
On the other hand. There is absolutely no correlation between number of comments, likes, etc. and the quality of your writing.
You can judge the quality by the amount of personal satisfaction you feel. Sure, you want people to enjoy your story and to "get" your message, but that has to be secondary to your own happiness.
If it makes you happy to write, do it.
By the way, I did read your moccasin story, just now. It's a good story. You're a storyteller. There are some things that I do that you might consider.
