She didn't just die. They just corrected her 2004 obit.

yeah, I got taken in by my local paper
they made it sound like it had just happened, not a correction.
Sometimes...
Sometimes, certain years, or certain periods, it seems that you're just going through hell. It simply might be the occasional sequence of runs predicted by probability and statistics for independent events. It's also a consequence of getting older, with everyone else around you getting older as well. Sometimes action helps a severe anxiety episode -- and might also end the sequence of hellish events.
Best wishes and hugs.

Not forgetting
David Bowie
Keith Emerson
Greg Lake
The last two were two thirds of Emerson Lake and Palmer. If you are old enough (and aware enough) to remember the heady days of the early and mid 1970's then that band is right up there with the best. I still listen to 'Brain Salad Surgery' and 'Pictures at an Exhibition'
No need to discuss David Bowie. I saw him perform in his Ziggy days. It blew my mind.
SIGH! I am getting SO old...
At least Elvis is still alive!
HUGS!
I love the old 1970s music...
I might be young, but I love the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s...I also love country and classical music, too.

Christmas TV Movies - Bah Humbug
I've been a tad under the weather these past few days. A heavy cold that has now moved to my chest in the form of a cough.
As a result I've had the misfortune to watch some of the 'made for TV' Christmas Movies.
The screenwriters are totally devoid of ideas. How many times do we need a film where one of the main characters works at an Ad agency and this big client needs a new advertising pitch by the 24th or that person will lose their job.[1]
Really? I lost count at the 5th one.
and yes, all those outside scenes obviously filmed in mid summer with clear blue skies and the sun high in the sky.
So yes, Bah Humbug. They all need a huge kick in the you know where.
[1] Perhaps this is an American thing, this making people leap through all sorts of hoops just before a Holiday Weekend. One of my ex-colleagues rang me up earlier. One of our sites in So Cal needs a complete quote for a system upgrade by 08:00 their time on Friday.
As everyone here in Blighty is on Holiday (use those days or lose them) they can go sing for the quote.
Still Not Finished
Darn right 2016 isn't done messing with us. Carrie Fisher and Richard Adams... At least Adams lived to a ripe old age. Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds (of "Singin' In the Rain") is still alive and kicking in her mid-eighties.

Major Crap
Of all the bloody, idiot things I could have said... But yes, 2016 still wasn't done with us.
