I'm not sure how, what, when or even if this will happen but I hope it will. I guess like most if not all on this site I love writing stories. I've written a few bedtime stories for my kids probably pretty much like all parents. My eldest son was my biggest challenge and is pretty much the reason that I did this. You see he hated sad endings so when I told stories like the three little pigs I had to invent a happy ending for him. So, I guess it all went from there really.

But the reason for this blog. Over the last year or so I've taken up a challenge I gave myself to write a Bikini Beach story. My thought was that it would challenge me to think what would a guy who was changed into a girl do or react. So the story slowly evolved after a couple of rewrites and a lot of second guessing. After looking at the rules to contribute I've now sent it onto Ellie Dauber as the rules instructed. I know Ellie has a life so I'm not expecting to hear for a while now so just
see how it goes. But I'm hoping that all will go well.

Good luck with your story

I think there are too many stories which don't have a feel good ending. Every writer should do a bad ending occasionally, just so that readers don't take things for granted. But my belief is that we writers should normally make our readers lives better by ending their stories on a high.

I am a bit apprehensive when you say it's a Bikini Beach story because I'm one of those people who don't follow universes.

Fine if your story is a standalone, either a solo or a serial, but not so good if in order to follow it, I have to have read other books in the BB series.

So my request is that if you don't already explain things so a BB virgin can understand, put a few sentences of explanation here and there.

But even without that, I'm sure your story will be a hit.
