yup, I think summer is over!

So what's been happening? Well Monday, it being dry if a little braw, I decided on a short bike ride, well I missed riding at the weekend. When I say short, just shy of 70km, a loop eastwards onto the Cotswolds before returning via Aqua Sulis and the Bike Path. The shoulder wasn't that happy but compared to three weeks ago it was painless - as if!

Keen to make the most of another dry forecast, I was on the bike again yesterday, a bit further, 102km, a south easterly perambulation taking in @ 60km of towpath and disused railway lines. Lunch was by the river in Bradford, the Wiltshire one, a last sunny picnic? anyhow, it was a nice, low stress day and the shoulder complained - well it complained.

Today the wet rolled in, my walk out to mini Sweden, was a damp affair to say the least, the follow on to mini Germany was by car!

I've posted a new Summer Girl chapter, Gabicon! which will have to suffice until the weekend - well unless you get yourself a copy of Gaby Tales!

That's it for today, see ya Sunday,

Gabicon

I think we need a real world one. I don't know if I could write a Gabysode, but, well, it would be a challenge.

Just make it somewhere a geriatric recovering from DVT and sepsis can access by rail...

Ok, Gaby Tales it is

Looking forward to reading tomorrow whilst the water rises around us..

Mads is there a complete list anywhere of the Gaby series in order? I find my library list doesn't show all of the book numbers - and of course it doesn't sort by timeline! I'm still reading the entire collection again but keep losing my place when looking for the next book.

I returned to work on the proposed weekend of this year's real Gabycon, a real up/down occasion. I look forward to a better one coming up, meeting faces and maybe turning pedals together.
