Now at the bottom of every story, logged-in members will find a link: Add to Favorites
This will create a list of favorites (actually four lists, one for each type of story input: fiction, story, wysiwyg and title page) for each member. These lists will be viewable by going to a members user page and later I'll have links to pages listing the stories most recently favorited and most often favorited, etc. That is, if this works. :)
And it's at the bottom of the story instead of the top like the votes.
Try it out, ask for features, if I like your idea and can do it without too much coding, I'll probably add it. :)

Erin

NIce!
I like it! Now, how about something similar for authors? I know we have the author list on the left, but a way to build our own list of favorite authors would be cool.

Um? Maybe...
I'll see, it will take a different module than this one.

I like it a lot!
I'd been wishing for something like this to keep track of stories I haven't yet read or am still reading.
I realize that's not the intent, but I'll use it for marking favorites as well as bookmarking.
I also like the fact that we can see an author's favorites list.
Bookmarking
There's a separate bookmarking module I could use instead of this. And this one already has some quirks that annoy me, sorts and fields the documentation say are available but they aren't. But we'll try it for a bit. :)

It ain't bad
I like the idea and it's easy to use! About the only annoyance I found was a limit of five slots I wasn't aware of, and consequently I'm gonna hafta redo my whole list to get what I want for one back on.

Not limited to five
It's just only five show up without clicking on the title above the five for a longer list. I can adjust the five to another number, but there are four lists and that makes 20 already. Um?

Aaah
Makes sense. Didn't even think to check that at the time. This is what you get for allowing Blondes to post online! :)

a full-on model
Might as well at least take a look at the model folks in the fanfic world seem to be following: fanfiction.net. A recent filled-in example is here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1298529/Clell65619
Readers of this site might enjoy "Harry Potter and the Distaff Side" btw
Only One Thing Erin,
There are so many stories to choose from!! Should we limit it to ongoing stories , or can we also ad incomplete series?

Favourites (sorry, I live in the UK after all!)
I like it - a wonderful idea. It's also all too easy to miss a great story if, for example, you've been on holiday or unwell.
Anything we can do to pop in links to serial chapters if we flag the first one?
Thank you so much. BCTS just keeps getting better and better.

Don't really understand ...
... the question. What's stopping you from faving a chapter if you fave the title page? Both will work. Or do you mean something else?
