Lets start with this weeks Gaby chapter - now available here!
That out of the way its news time. Well, my cycling calendar has run out, I can relax a bit after last weekends 185km, a handlebar eating grind around Essex for six hours forty minutes largely into a stiff bit of wind, Gaby would've loved it! It was a hard day physically, my age group placing of 20th (45-54 and I'm at the wrong end of that) somehow makes my ride look better than it felt! Now what to ride next year?.....
Moving along, whilst the 'competitive' cycling is over I've not done with travelling, next week I take some archaeologists to Germany for a few days and in December its time to visit friends and Weihnachtsmarkt in Germany again - my 5th and 6th trips into Europe this year! Its all research - honest!
I should be back to writing Gaby in the next few days and my Austrian trip has gathered lots of stuff for both Gaby and Nena story cycles. I've got some mental notes on at least one standalone story and more information to complete another part written 'short'. My autumn will not be quiet, busy in fact, I'd like to get the new Nena and current Gaby books finished for Christmas / New Year. So please support your local jobbing author or i'll have to get a job and then where will I be!
Until next time
Ciao Bella!

LOL
You're making me tired, Maddy. :) I feel lucky when I get in a five mile walk.

Making YOU tired?
I got got tired even READING what she posted! At this stage of my life the most exercise I get is pushing my luck and jumping to conclusions! Whew! I gotta go sit down after typing this.

Get Walking.
Better get to walking, then. There was a time when I could walk five miles. But now, I'm just too fat. I'd better get walking as well.

Well Anyway, Maddy
When you turn 55, you'll be able to kick butt!

Well done
and welcome back, "young 'un" ;-)
If I may misquote - face piles of miles with smiles.

Visiting Germany
I'm curious. Is it going to get harder to visit Germany in a year or so?

Very good question, I hope not but there's a chance the gov will cock everything up and make it both more difficult and expensive to leave these islands. I may have to seriously consider emigrating if it's looking likely - I don't have anything to really keep me pegged here.
