I went to see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies today, and it was an excellent movie. At turns action-packed, romantic, and actually a lot of humor.
But I believe it will be the last film I see in the theater.
Its not just the expense, or the urge to buy snacks both costly and bad for me, but the experience - I found I hated being alone watching the movie.
Story of my life, really - not really good at people skills, yet I have come to hate being alone ...
Ah, well. At most, only 30 -40 years of loneliness to go ...

Never alone with this place! I would dearly like to see that film but my significant other wont go! I think its just the clips of those gorgeous dresses and then the complicated period gorgeous underwear topped of with the leather hand crafted hidden sword scabbards. I know it's probably a silly film but i always found Jane Austen boring anyway. having the 30-40 yrs to go the odds are good that your peoplle skills will improve and you will meet others. I am pretty much "on the spectrum" as regards people skills and find that treating meetings as an excersise in "acting" helps! not meaning to be insincere but it helps get the ball rolling. Strange but in my girly mode I am much more sociable and pleasant. x
