I've been heavily involved in some activism for T folk in the Mormon church for some time and it feels like I am dealing with an unchangeable monolith. Perhaps abandoning what I've been doing is best? Sometimes no matter how many unimpeachable facts you give it is not worth the struggle since their agenda is not what I thought it was. Any who would like further explanation, you may PM me.

So, dropping any pretense of being of faith or even faithful, I thought perhaps I might do some things I've always wanted to do. So, will it be an Eagle or a Butterfly Tramp Stamp? I think I prefer a Butterfly.

I let my beautiful jewelled Nose Ring go some time ago, and I think I want that piercing back. When I got my nipple rings it was a romantic impulse that never stopped being painful until one fell out and I cut the other out myself.

I've been working to get my weight back down from over 200 lbs to <150 lbs the way it once was. What a chore. from now on it is vegetables, water, and a bit of boiled chicken.

A few things.

First, one mistake with losing weight is that there is a theshold on the calorie count, that if you go below, you will not lose fat. You need to talk to a doctor on staring a diet.

Also, I found the fastest way to lose weight is when I realized what products have sugar into them and to avoid those produces. Such as canned soups.

When it comes to piercings, and clothing. You stated you have some friends in the Mormon church. Ask their advice. I don't think they would approve of the nose ring, but some multiple tasteful earrings on each of the ears might be okay.

Also, ask them what type of female fashions might be best for you, with you age and body type.

It just depends. But, if you want to keep that if you want to deal with an group, to help avoid problems, you need to try to meet them halfway.

I hear your frustration and you have lots of sympathy from me. Trying to change the world can make Sisyphus' task seem like a trip to the spa at times. If there was only some way to know how many folks would be different and not for the better but there isn't, really. Still, I would bet money that you are making a significant difference. A big one. There will always be a few backwards types who get more noticed than the rest, tho. Keep the faith. Your impact really does help. Thank you. (:-)
