Updated: End of the month and we are about $700 short of our goal. We've been very busy, including some new projects we're not quite ready to talk about.
Bills this week come to about $1300, a lot of them small end of the month things like software licenses, phone bills and such. Any amount will help us out, you can send us a gift or buy a Hatbox subscription. The links are also in the right hand column.
And starting now, you can send gifts via mail to:
Janglewood LLC
602 Higgins Ave
Suite 1 #283
Brielle, NJ 08730
United States of America
Make checks payable to Janglewood LLC, we have a New Jersey bank account to deposit them in now. :)
Thanks for the support and we hope to be doing this with all of you for at least another 16 years.
Hugs,
Erin, Piper, Cat and the gang
P.S. Say hello to Leigh, a new staffer who will be helping us keep things straight and not forget to pay any bills. - Erin :)

patreon ?
Videos streamers I follow use https://www.patreon.com/ I think that BCTS should look into a service such as this.
Patreon
I have looked into it and I actually support some people through it. But the Hatbox subscriptions is our attempt in that direction, a way for people to pay a little each month. And we only get one finance charge subtracted instead of two. :)
Thanks for the suggestion, though.

An east coast address is a blessing
Since I am on the east coast and only like 2 states away it can get there in two days or less really.
donation
Is Paypal no longer an option? It was the only way I had to donate due to restrictions on my debit card put on by my credit union.
PayPal
Yes, we can now mention PayPal on the site. Both the Subscribe button and the One-Time Gift button in the right column take you to sites where you can give us a gift via PayPal. But until they recently changed their policies, we could not mention them directly on site because of what Ebay considered adult-only content. Now that Ebay has spun PayPal off again, they have gone back to their original, more sensible and consistent, policies. Yay!

about YOUR fees?
Erin.
I was about to take out a monthly sub as it gives you a bit more than the quarterly, But do the fees you incure wipe out the extra $5 (I know, big spender!). Which works out best for you.
Sophie
Fees
The fee we pay for collection through PayPal is .30 cents plus 2.9%.
Three payments of $5 nets us $13.65, more than one payment at $10 which gets us $9.61.

Thanks Erin
When I saw the exchange rate I went for super premium monthly. Sounds like I'm buying petrol !! (gas in the USA).
Best wishes & thanks for all you all do.
Sophie
Fees again
There's a 1% additional fee for currency conversion, but still. :)
Thanks,

Subbed
So you should now be getting an additional $9 - (($9 * 0.039) + 0.003) = $8.64 or $8.65 (depending on how they round the 0.6 cents - assuming it's 1% currency conversion commission + 2.9% processing fee + 0.3 cents processing fee) per month from me as well :)
Not a big contribution to your bills, but as a certain supermarket here in the UK is fond of saying, "Every little helps..."
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
Thanks, hon.
And yes it does, and having dependable subs coming in helps with planning.

Gas
I saw Gas (petrol for the rest of us) at $1.89/Gal (US sized) near the NJ Turnpike, Exit 3 a few days ago. Do the conversion and then compare it to what you are paying especially in Europe.
Perhaps Erin ought to offer a 'Gas Saver' subscription. Pay a percentage of you have saved due to lower gas prices and BC should be fairly solvent.
Just a thought...
Gas/Petrol vis US/UK-Europe Prices
........Do the conversion and then compare it to what you are paying especially in Europe.
No, I'd rather not, I would only start crying!!

As a regular donor
One must wonder what percentage of members and 'guest readers' who frequent the site regularly, actually donate monies on a regular basis?
