okay, I noticed something strange at work last night. The last while, I start my shift okay, slowly get more and more depressed until lunch, and then slowly recover till I am mostly okay when I am heading home.
Weird, huh?

It sounds like
you're not feeling very fulfilled by your job. Perhaps you should talk to management about shifting to a new department and learning a new skill set? I know the company you work for is fairly open to such changes, and a change of pace can often help alleviate feelings of discontent in the workplace :)

unfortunately
it sounds just like typical work blues, either not happy, satisfied, etc with your job. its a "chore" to go, and as it progresses it shows WHY its a chore, after the "hump" you are looking forward to home, or at least something more inspiring/fun/stimulating/etc.

Very old joke from Soviet Russia.
Workers meeting at the factory.
Presiding guy gets up and says: "On Monday we are coming to our senses after weekend. On Tuesday we prepare ourselves to work. On Wednesday we work. On Thursday we cool down from work. On Friday we are preparing ourseves for weekend..." Voice from the assembly: "We need to somehow solve this Wednesday problem!"
Sounds like a normal day
Its much worse in the 5 days after the weekend.
oooh yeah, Rock'n the Workday Blues
Yeah, the workday blues for sure. Start work and get depressed until the 1/2 mark. Then ya get better as the time to go home gets nearer.
You just don't wanna be there and are ready to get the hell home. I had get this all the time, to the point i sometimes cry at night at the hopeless knowledge that when i wake i have to do it all over again, and again, and again....
I just wish someone would figure out a better way for society to run, because this crap sucks.
