Homonyms, synonyms, heterographs, contractions, slang, colloquialisms, clichés, spoonerisms, and plain old misspellings are the bane of writers, but the art and magic of the story is in the telling not in the spelling.

Friend. Valkyrie. Sister.....
I'm so sorry you're not where you want to be right now. I'll use a phrase familiar to our naval sisters; "This tide is yours. Ride it until the waves bring you back to the shore and you stand watching the rip carry it away." The horizon is waiting for your tired smile Valkyrie sister, as are we when you have returned back us. to twist my own credo: As you are, as you have always been, you ARE yourself.
quidquid sum ego, et omnia mea semper; Ego me.

Digging into my emergency stash
Yep, I found the section I have set up for Dot. Plenty of spares on the shelves. Wrap up two nice hugs for Dot and send them via special messenger.

That trauma really sticks with you... so sad
They say time heals all but ....
I don't know what to say other than get help.
There must be resources available to you to counter the PTSD.
You are not alone. Don't tough this out alone.
We are pulling for you.
What was it that brought this on? A smell, sound, situation, watching a movie, something that triggered a connection to the past trauma(s)?
I wonder if in identifying the trigger you may find a way to ease out of this.
Do seek out professional help.
