You aren't late alone!
Just discovered it's existence about 2 hours ago through perusal of the internet.
May it be with you also.
Hugs, Fran
Not me
Druther have a fifth. And a clean glass.
They know they can survive
Isn't that
Isn't that what you say to a taxi driver, "May the fares be with you!"......
May the Fifth be with you...
Tequila, Vodka, Whiskey, Bourbon, whatever...
I take
I'll take the fifth. And add a bit of fourth and throw in a little ob third. But hold off on the other half. I'm driving June.
It is NOT "May the Fifth..."
it is the Revenge of the Fifth! And the next possible Star Wars Sunday is apparently not until the 2020's.
Do what you wish
Even though it doesn't work audio-wise. The rest of us will go with the fifths. May the fifth be with you. Absolut vodka for me, please.
They know they can survive
Revenge of the Fifth, usually
Revenge of the Fifth, usually happens on the mourning of the Sixth.
Sadly...
...the one thing I will never forget about May the 4th is 1970. The Governor of Ohio sent National Guard troops to the campus of Kent State University, because he was embarrassed by the antiwar protests (this was the height of the Vietnam War). That day, the troops opened fire on campus, killing four students, crippling another, and wounding several more. Two of the dead were merely passers-by, on their way to or from class and hadn't even participated in the protests. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_Shootings
I actually met the gentleman who won a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the aftermath and the hearings.
The "May the force..." pun is funny, but I'm still too sad about Kent State to laugh about it, even all these years later.
It Was 41 Years Ago Today...
May 5th 1973.

BTW, it's 'ha-way the lads'
That film
Ever since it came out, my birthday has been a bit... ah well, here we go again.
Hadn't realized the significance
but love it.
