It's the middle of August and we still aren't halfway to our goal for July. There've been a lot of unexpected medical expenses and while the hardware fund has collected some money, that last $500 was from me.
I want everyone to know how much we appreciate your gifts, we couldn't do this without help. Piper's work on the servers has made BC stable and reasonably fast. If you appreciate that work and can afford to, a few dollars would be a great help.

regarding Gifts to keep BC running
As some of you may know, I attempted suicide this year.
Frequently, the only thing that kept me going was this site.
I was laid off and can't meet my bills and put food on the table.
But I will try somehow to donate something.
Take care of yourself.....
I'll put something in for you. You need it more than I do, and it's the least that I can do to help.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you need help in anyway. I have had my own moments where it looked like there was no point in going on, and it was only the thought of my three sons and my friends here that kept me from taking that last leap. Just remember like I did, there are people who care about you and can help if you let us.
