Tears of the Innocent
Melodie; Is this the only kind of stories you write? As I keep reading the same type from you. They are hard to read and always end up Good though. Thanks!
Richard
Well done!
I really liked this story. Nice to have an ending that was open. Looking to see where it goes next!..... Adoy
Homecoming
Great storytelling!
"I shook my head as I felt the weight of sadness in my heart. I turned to Adeline, “Adeline, my name is Dan McNeil, and we are here to take you home.â€"
Tears of joy reading this make it all worth while. Excellent!

Sniffling I sigh........
I guess this ending more closely parallel's reality and sort of open ended for possible sequels, but I was holding out hope that Daniel & Lin Vin might get back together before the conclusion of this arc. Alas I guess it wasn't to be. Well Ms. Thomas, I've enjoyed this one and shall try to read the two previous to this one hon. Thank you for sharing this with us all here at The Big Closet! (Hugs) Taarpa
Well, at least there is hope
Thanks, Melodie, for a very gripping and emotionally provoking story.
The end gave me, like the second novel about Daniel, a sad but hopeful feeling in my heart - unlike your FIRST book, which left me a crying mess.
Hugs to you, and here's me hoping for a brighter future for the Trial of Tears team :)
Unacceptable ending!!! Just
Unacceptable ending!!!
Just kidding.
Epic work, Melodie. You put us through so much with your great storytelling and very real characters, but this ending is just—please make them go back together! I beg you!
Anyway, despite my frustration at the open ending, kudos to you for this wonderful story. Please keep writing. Thank you.
I really enjoyed your story
Thank you for sharing a wonderful story.
Well done all the way through.
A bittersweet ending with a lot open possibilities to go from in the future. Hopefully Dan and Lin will get back together, and Lucy has finally found some measure of happiness, and maybe even some peace with herself.
