Well, this is surprising to me. I wrote this blog in the midst of writing my latest love story, a full on, unapologetic TG one too. As I am writing this story, I am also re-reading 50 shades, watching the news, and processing the romantic proposal of a Muslim Imam.
Am I so far out of step with the folk here that my time has passed? Is it time to go?
As some of you know, I write Romances and over time, some of them have gotten quite soppy, and my naivete has made my life adventurously interesting at times.
Not to disgust any of you, but religion just seems to be the center of my being, in spite of the fact that some groups are made up almost entirely of Trolls, for reasons unclear to me, I remain Muslim and Mormon, so I suppose once could say I am Morlim, or Musmon, or to borrow from native American lore, I am female two spirit rider of two horses at once.
This has, at times been traumatically confusing, but since no one has stepped forward to order my life for me, I am that I am. After all, it is not unlawful to be insane.
So, on Friday, I attended Mosque and talked with friends afterward. Saturday I met with my Imam, who has been quite supportive. During the meeting, he suddenly got a whimsical twinkle in his eye, and said that the men were going to have to get me off to Hajj. (A pilgrimage to Macca, Saudi Arabia). Shortly there after, he asked me if I would marry. After my eyes uncrossed, I could see that he was serious. (It is permissible in Shia Islam) Is this the place to shudder?
So, today I was at church. Does anyone feel a caution about the duality of my nature? I'm not on any drugs, so perhaps the non-tumor in my brain is up to no good?
The Mormons are very nice, but not nearly as impressed with me as the Shia.
I'm thinking that perhaps Monday will find me sober and I'll wonder what it was I ate? Perhaps it was the insanely rich chocolate cake, or the steak and pickles?
Seriously, can any of you see me as one of the wives of an Iraqi Shia Muslim?
Now I have to get back to writing my epic romance, set in the deserts of Southern Utah.

Someone
obviously wished that 'you have an interesting life.' Is it coincidence that both groups have practiced polygamy?
Insha'Allah,

As we've talked about
As we've talked about before...I'm Sunni Muslim but I don't know what advice to give. It is your choice...but I will vehemently disagree with Suzie. Go where your heart and Allah lead. Everyone deserves happiness. And I know how wonderful many Muslim men really are.
Insha'Allah everything will work out. Don't let haters get you down either.
