A horror to read, yet a pleasure to see. Your works always brings out such mixed feelings in me, Melodie. The stark dichotomy between the scenes is jarring, but in a good way. It really drives the point home how simply dark some lives can be, but also how a simple act of kindness can bring a smile even to a face that had forgotten how to do so.
