The Crack in the Mirror.
I look into the glass
I see pain
I see despair
I see hopelessness
I look into the glass
I see imperfection
I see flaws
I see damage
I look into the glass
I see the crack
And the crack is me

Biggest hugs,
Diana
So good.
So good to see your stuff here again, Jenn.
Where you see cracks, we see your beauty.

You look into the glass
You see contentment
You see joy
You see hope
You look into the glass
You see others standing with you
You see fewer flaws
You see damage blurring
You look into the glass
You see the crack is healed
And you see your true love beside you
my poetry isn't good, but my wishes for you are.
It takes time Jenny but the healing has started.
These are my wishes for you and your lovely wife,
Bless you both,
Ole

hard to push the "good story" button for this one
Its so raw, so much pain, I hesitate to call it "good", when my instinct is to take the author and hold her gently and tell her she is much more than the crack she sees ....
thank you for being brave enough to share this.
Apparently...
...you get your mirrors at the same place I get mine! Too painfully true. Thank you for speaking for me.
Love, Andrea Lena
I was all ready to......
Write something witty, profound, and uplifting as a reply comment, but I find that Ole beat me to it! So I simply say ditto! LOL. Big Hugs girlfriend! Taarpa
I love how you can do this.
How you get such power out of so little stuff there. It hits you hard and truthfully and cuts deep in a good way.
Jenny is awesome!
*Great Big Hugs*

But
I'm glad I have a crack! It's better than an outie.
Hugs and Bright Blessings,

Beauty
I look in the mirror of your soul and see beauty LOVE YOU Jenn C
I like what Renee said about a crack not an outie LOL
Me too
I've studied, observed, and done therapy, all in the effort to learn how to be social, all in the effort to understand what I feel. And where has that got me? I'm a crack too, but at least I am a wise crack.
