Ghost Writer? What is that, and would it be of use to me?
This autobiography that is in progress has proved to be so painful, that I do not know if it can be finished by me. Perhaps.
I really wanted to make a powerful statement about child abuse and molestation; one that would bring all this to center stage of the the public arena; to make things better. Perhaps the idea is too Pollyanna?
I'll be speaking to my long time shrink about that today. Sometimes I feel that my continued work on it could put a pistol in my mouth, but I still want it to be published. Not because I am so special, but more people need to speak out and confront the daemons.
Will books like this help to put an end to child abuse? I have friends who have a hell that is more poignant than mine hidden in the dark recesses of their minds, who I doubt will ever reveal their pasts. I want all the tears to not have flowed in vain.
Any suggestions? Should another T woman write this? Should I use a Muggle (non trans, straight person) to do it? Maybe the story should just die when I do?

author that writes a story that you post. Ghost Writers give up all rights to the story that they sell or give another.It is up to you to choose on and the terms of the contract.

I know that somethings are hard to write. Remember even if it does not see the light of day it will help you to heal. I also know that if it gets posted it could help others to heal. I know what I am talking about. The story "Victor and the Witch" by Jenna Hitch and me had a review a t FM that included, "it is one story that helped my acceptance of my past and what has happened to me."
To help others to heal is another way you can be an angel.

Maybe you should try to be your own ghost writer? Just imagine that you are telling someone else's story. It is not easy. But - no pain, no gain. And again... after all these years you are not the same person with lots of other memories and experiences to draw upon. Don't try to become as e person you were all these years before. Be yourself. Your current self.

A ghost writer is somebody
A ghost writer is somebody hired by a person with a story they want to tell, but don't have the skill to tell it. They take story ideas, ideas for scenes, dialogue, and outlines for events. Then they polish what you have and fill in what you don't to make a complete story. The creator (you) then has them adjust the story to more closely fit their ideas.
Depending on the contract the credits can be very different:
written by Creator
written by Creator with (or 'with help from') Ghost Writer
written by Creator, edited by Ghost Writer
written by Ghost Writer from idea by Creator
written by Creator, ghost written by Ghost Writer
etc.
Well it sometimes happens
Well it sometimes happens that the author is simply not prolific enough to satisfy the desires of the publisher... In that case the author might simply write a plot and outsource the writing ;)
I'd help you write yours, if you help me write mine.
the only way a "ghost writer" would work I think would be like an interview. They would have to ask questions, and you would give the answers, and the book would take shape. but would they know what questions to ask?
