Yep.
I feel fantastic if somebody mistakes me for a woman when I'm out en-homme. Then if they realise they might be mistaken and try to apologise I enjoy putting them at their ease even more by explaining that I feel complimented because I'm trans. It often raises a smile of relief and sometimes leads to a brief, pleasant conversation.
